The Philippines’ representative office in Taiwan partnered with selected companies and brands to continue to promote a wide range of Philippine food products and brands to the mainstream Taiwanese market at the Taipei World Trade Center last July 24-26, 2020.

The Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC) in Taipei, the commercial affairs section of The Manila Economic and Cultural Office participated in the International Sweets & Snacks Fair as well as in the Wine & Gourmet Taipei.

Now on the second year in joining the International Sweets & Snacks Fair, the PTIC partnered again with the EEC Taiwan, the well-known and largest local grocery store selling Filipino and Asian goods, to showcase a number of the popular snacks and dried goods from the Philippines.

The PTIC also joined the Wine & Gourmet Taipei 2020 for the first time. Collaborated with Destileria Limtuaco’s Craft Spirits and two of the Philippines’ top multi-awarded premium chocolate brands, Theo & Philo and Auro, to represent the Philippines and offer the taste of local products. Samples of special craft spirits like Philippine Mango Rhum and Calamansi Liqueur are available, as well as samplings of unique flavors from Auro and Theo & Philo’s, such as Milk Chocolate Adobo, Milk Chocolate Turon, and many more.
